Hi, I’m Dr. Dorothy Pang.
Before I became a psychologist, I was simply someone friends turned to when life felt overwhelming. They’d share their stories, and I’d remember the little details — not to judge, but to remind them of who they are when they couldn’t see it themselves. I guess that kind of care still lives at the heart of my work today — and has become the calling of my life.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I provide therapy for adults, teens, and families facing eating disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, stress and burnout, and relationship or parenting challenges in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. My style is warm, collaborative, and action-focused.
I see therapy as a space to gently connect the dots — to understand how your past might be shaping your present, to tune into your needs today, and to take meaningful steps forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, lack of motivation, or unsure where to begin, you don’t have to go through it alone.
Let’s start a conversation. I’m here to help.
My Approach
As a Stanford–trained psychologist, I provide evidence-based care in a supportive, collaborative space focused on healing, lasting change, and meaningful self-discovery. My approach is warm, integrative, and trauma-informed. I blend ACT, CBT, and EFT with compassion, mindfulness, and practical tools to reduce anxiety and shame, strengthen coping, and reconnect with your values.
